Transvestite Hate Crime?

From the realm of the bizarre comes this interesting news article.

I wonder, will it be classified as a hate crime?

One could only hope!

Follow up: Drag Queen Murders 18 Homosexuals in France.

I don't buy into the whole "hate crime" legislative agenda. All crimes of these type are generally motivated by hate, so why have a protected class? And why ignore the fact that so much crime takes place within the homosexual community that goes largely unnoticed by the press?

It's bias, in my opinion, to try to push an agenda - the agenda that desires to normalize homosexual behavior. I'm not buying it, and these are just two reasons why I'm not buying into the frenzy - in fact, I'm blogging against it, as you've noticed.

Oh yes, transvestites hate McDonald’s employees; or didn’t you get the updated version of the “homosexual agenda?”

The point, Ken, is that it would most definitely be classified as a hate crime if the shoe were on the other foot...i.e. a transvestite run business attacked by three people.

There's an agenda? Are you on their mailing list?

It would be a hate crime only if people were motivated to beat someone up BECAUSE they were GLBT, but don't let those pesky facts bother you Tyler.

Don't let facts confuse you, anon y mouse, because even though this crime was horrible, the fact that one of the attackers was himself a homosexual looking for sex didn't seem to matter to prosecutors.

You’re probably right, but whose fault is that? I have a cousin named Stephanie; she’s a bit of a trouble maker. She’s stolen from family and friends and has a knack for causing trouble and drama. On New Years she came to our house for a family get together. After a while my sister noticed that her purse was open, after checking it out she found that money she was positive was there was now missing. Everyone automatically looked at Stephanie. With no evidence pointing at her we all assumed she was the culprit because she had a history of doing things like it in the past. Since some Christians have taken it upon themselves to bomb abortion clinics and foster violence against gays is it any wonder that Christians get blamed for it? It may not be right, but it’s the way things are.

You mean Scia hasn’t given you the new edition yet?

Ummmmmmm...you mean the Army of God and the Westboro Baptist Church? I guess they speak for Christianity as much as the transvestite in the article I just linked into (see original post) speaks for homosexuals, right?

You mean Scia hasn’t given you the new edition yet?

Actually, Ken, I'm the one that mailed it to him. But if you have an update, keep us posted, will ya?
