Republicans report better mental health than others, regardless of age, income, gender, ethnicity, church attendance, and a number of other factors.
Now, certainly, it is impossible to conclude whether being a republican makes one more healthy, mentally, or being mentally healthy makes one more likely to be a republican, although I do have my suspicions there.
Interesting to note is that mental health also increases with the frequency of church attendance, again in the category of "tell me something I didn't know".
That isn't to say that all republicans and church-going folks are healthier, or that atheistic democrats are unhealthy, but the fact that there is so much correlation says one thing, and that is this:
More than likely, if you're mentally unstable, you're going to vote for Hillary Clinton.
Again, tell me something I didn't already know!

Transvestite Hate Crime?
From the realm of the bizarre comes this interesting news article.
I wonder, will it be classified as a hate crime?
One could only hope!
Follow up: Drag Queen Murders 18 Homosexuals in France.
I don't buy into the whole "hate crime" legislative agenda. All crimes of these type are generally motivated by hate, so why have a protected class? And why ignore the fact that so much crime takes place within the homosexual community that goes largely unnoticed by the press?
It's bias, in my opinion, to try to push an agenda - the agenda that desires to normalize homosexual behavior. I'm not buying it, and these are just two reasons why I'm not buying into the frenzy - in fact, I'm blogging against it, as you've noticed.

Christmas is Coming!
Twas the month before Christmas
When all through our land,
Not a Christian was praying
Nor taking a stand.
See the PC Police had taken away,
The reason for Christmas - no one could say.
The children were told by their schools not to sing,
About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.
It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say
December 25th is just a "Holiday".
Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!
CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod
Something was changing, something quite odd!
Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa
In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.
As Targets were hanging their trees upside down
At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.
At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.
Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty
Are words that were used to intimidate me.
Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.
And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace
The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.
So as you celebrate "Winter Break" under your "Dream Tree"
Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.
Choose your words carefully, choose what you say
Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS,
not Happy Holiday!

Deval is a Dope
Why We Need Abstinence Education
Maybe this one is better left short and sweet and to the point.
Read the article. Talk to me.
Defend teaching kids about condoms as an effective means of birth control and prevention of the spread of STD's, if you can.

Openly gay Senator Barrios Expands Buffer Zone
In a move to allow more children to die needlessly, the openly gay senator Jarrett T. Barrios has authored a bill to increase the buffer zone around "reproductive health centers" to 35 feet (Bill Here).
The legislation is horrible, but at least it isn't as outright crazy as the move to ban peanut butter and fluff sandwiches. 79 children's lives have been saved this last year by Operation Rescue.
For some insight into who Senator Barrios is, check out this page where you can read about some of the insanity that is the openly gay senator Jarrett T. Barrios.
I've often linked those who are homosexual and those who are for homosexual rights to the culture of death - because it stems from an attitude that morals don't really matter. Now, I know that I have a few blogger friends here that don't fit that mold, and I'm certainly not talking about you, but for the most part, if you are homosexual or pro-homosexual, you are also pro-choice - or as I like to call it, pro-death.
Choice is about having options. "Pro-choice" is about allowing a woman to terminate the life inside of her. Choice is good. "Pro-choice" is an arrogant belief that a woman has the right to commit murder of her undborn child. Choice I welcome. "Pro-choice" I abhor.
No thanks to Senator Barrios for putting through this legislation. This is just another reason why Massachusetts can be seen as the state that leads the charge of the secular-progressive movement in America. We are Sodom, California is Gomorrah, and I wonder - does anything in-between stand a chance of survival?
