Huckabee Sign Wave Sunday February 3, 2008 - Seekonk, MA

My wife and some young Huckabee supporters over the top of Highway 195 in Seekonk, MA

More of the girls helping out with the sign wave for Mike Huckabee.

Our young help...and quite energetic, too!

A look at the highway, the Eastbound lanes of 195 in Massachusetts. We had a lot of honks for Huckabee!

Ken and Robert over the top of the Westbound lanes of 195 in Massachusetts. We were able to make contact with about 1,000 vehicles just in the 1 hour that I was there, and the other folks were there for an hour and a half before my wife and I showed up.

It looks really cold there, what kind of temperatures have you been getting back East? It looks like in Phoenix we’ll hit 70 by the end of the week.

If you don’t mind me asking, were you using an SLR for a camera on those pictures?

More on topic, it looks like McCain will take AZ and probably California; do you think Huckabee has much of a chance anymore? Do you see much in the Democratic candidates? Clinton and Obama are pretty much neck and neck.

Hey, Ken -

It was actually fairly decent weather. In February, we can get down to sub-at night with highs only in the teens. This week looks like highs 45-50 most of the week, like it was yesterday when we were out there with the signs.

The camera isn't SLR, it's a Kodak Digital w/5x zoom. Are you into photography?

I think Huckabee does have a chance. He's really close in a lot of polls down south, it was just recently that McCain topped him in a few states. I think he's going to take Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas, and maybe a few more. It doesn't matter about polls - it matters who votes, and what triggers any last - minute changes. Because of the news, people think Huckabee is out and/or not viable.

I don't like either of the democratic candidates, because they are both anti-life. Apart from that, I don't like a lot of their ideas and policies. Iraq needs to be a victory so Al Qaeda isn't emboldened to fight harder. We need to find and prosecute Bin Laden. We need to defend Israel. We need to rebuild alliances with other countries (France, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, China, India, Australia, etc.) and be serious as a world leader and superpower. We need to fix our broken economy, not deplete the citizenry of their wages (translate spend wisely).

I don't feel that Barack or Billary will serve us well in the White House. I'm not against a woman or a minority president, but just not either of these two!

Thank you, Jenna!

I hope that others do the same!

Very much so; I considered doing that professionally when I got out of high school.

“Iraq needs to be a victory so Al Qaeda isn't emboldened to fight harder.”

I agree, but let’s stop pussyfooting around and pull out the big guns.

“We need to find and prosecute Bin Laden.”

Nah, we should do what the English used to do. Dismember him and use his body to remind others this is what will happen if you mess with the U.S.

“We need to defend Israel.”

I agree again.

“We need to rebuild alliances with other countries (France, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, China, India, Australia, etc.) and be serious as a world leader and superpower.”

That would be cool but I wouldn’t expect much from China.

“We need to fix our broken economy, not deplete the citizenry of their wages (translate spend wisely).”

I agree once again!

“I don't feel that Barack or Billary will serve us well in the White House.”

What good would any of these things be without freedom; the freedom to choose our own morality. That’s why I support Ron Paul, but since my freedom is more important than my money, I’ll probably be forced to vote for a democrat.

Ken, Mike Huckabee isn't out to suppress your freedom, just because he's a baptist preacher.

I can see how you'd like Ron Paul, but his policy on Israel is terrible!

Yeah he is a lot like an isolationist, but for me he’s the best option for president. I can’t expect perfection.
